๐ Introduction
reflect is a digital well-being Chrome/Firefox extension built by 4 college students with 800 users. We're looking for a Grade 11 or 12 part-time student apprentice for two months (August 1 - September 30) to both learn and do full-stack development and design with a stipend of $1700 CAD ($1350 USD).
With the mentorship of our team of 4, you'll be working on new product features to expand the functionality of our app, wearing many hats, and gaining valuable skills you can apply in future endeavors!
โกMentorship Details
- We'll help guide you in solving problems when you're stuck and also answer any questions you have on an ad-hoc basis and through weekly office hours
- We'll support you both in tech (front end development and back end development) and design (user interface and user experience design)
- Beyond reflect, we'll help you with whatever you'd like: seeking opportunities like hackathons and CS-related events, looking for other projects to hack on, joining communities of like-minded people, deciding where to apply for college, answeringโ whatever floats your boat!

๐ Responsibilities
- Solving issues in Github, a free developer tool, by making pull requests to improve reflect
- Improving (refactoring) your pull requests based on our comments and feedback
- Designing new features in Figma, a free designer tool with our feedback and mentorship
- Providing weekly updates to our team about your progress and any questions we can answer or problems we can help you out with
- If you'd like to go above and beyond:
- Take initiative (own) new features that you'd like to see in reflect!
